Welcome to Chaos Controller. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Chaos Controller software platform, website, and related services (collectively, the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. The Service

Chaos Controller is a business organization and operations software platform. It helps you structure responsibilities, recurring work, people, processes, training, and delegation, and view daily priorities across your business. The Service is a tool you configure and operate; Chaos Controller does not run your business for you and does not make decisions on your behalf.

2. Accounts

You must provide accurate information when creating an account and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for activity that happens under your account and the accounts of the team members you invite. Plans limit the number of users you may add; you may not exceed the user limit of your plan.

3. Subscriptions, billing, and launch pricing

• Paid plans renew automatically at the interval shown at checkout (monthly or yearly) until cancelled.
• Launch pricing applies to accounts that sign up during the launch period. Your launch rate stays with your account for as long as it remains active and continuously subscribed, even after regular pricing changes for new customers.
• If your subscription lapses and you later resubscribe, pricing at that time applies.
• Prices are shown in U.S. dollars and exclude any applicable taxes, which are added where required.

4. Your content and data

You retain ownership of the business information you enter into the Service — tasks, processes, documents, team data, and similar content ("Your Content"). You grant Chaos Controller a limited license to store, process, and display Your Content solely to operate and provide the Service to you. You are responsible for having the right to enter Your Content, including information about your team members.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Service — including attempting to access another customer's data, probing or disrupting the Service's infrastructure, reselling or redistributing access without permission, or using the Service for unlawful purposes.

6. Intellectual property

The Service itself — its software, design, features, and branding — is owned by Chaos Controller and is protected by intellectual property law. Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of the Service to you.

7. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Chaos Controller does not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any particular business outcome will result from its use.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Chaos Controller will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, or data, arising from or relating to your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.

9. Termination

You may cancel your subscription at any time as described in our Refund & Cancellation Policy. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or create risk or legal exposure for us or other customers. Where practical, we will notify you before doing so.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as the Service evolves. If a change is material, we will notify you through the Service or by email before it takes effect. Continuing to use the Service after a change takes effect means you accept the updated Terms.
